Greetings,
In an effort to ensure that Silverlight 2 in Action becomes available in a timely fashion, I have asked to bring on a co-author. I am excited to announce that Michael Schwartz will be writing one of the chapters in this book.
Michael is a Microsoft MVP and seasoned Silverlight professional. In fact, I believe that Michael was one of the first three non-Microsoft individuals to get on board with Silverlight. That number may be off slightly. However, I do not think by much. Michael was an extremely early adopter.
We are hoping to MEAP some more content very soon. Thank you for your patience.

Exciting news. I've been reviewing it and it looks great so far. Good luck with the release!
Chad, what chapter is he going to write? And are you waiting for Beta release before sending out a new update to the book?
Thanks!
..Ben
David: Thank you for your complements. I'm really striving to make this a valuable resource. I hope you're as happy with the final product once it becomes available.
Ben: Michael is going to write chapter 6, which focuses on networking and communications. He has been working on it for the past 5 or 6 weeks. With that said, we hope to get that chapter out very soon. Other than chapter 6, the rest of the content will come with Beta 2. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
i ll be waiting for this one...Silverlight rulez!!!
this is taking for ever
Chad, any news on the book?
..Ben
Hi Ben,
There will be a significant amount of content released once beta 2 is released. At this point, each of the chapters are VERY far along. I'm very excited to get this book out.
